Possible Shut Down Coming

Gavin Newsom announced today that Butte County is grouped in with the Greater Sacramento Region. When the region’s ICU hospital capacity falls below 15% capacity, the new stay-at-home order is triggered for a period of at least three weeks. When the stay-at-home order is triggered, bars, wineries, nail salons, hair salons and barbershops, and other personal care services will need to close. Private gatherings of any size will be prohibited.

We are open as of now to serve our clients and our community. This year has been rough on all of us and we wish everyone health and safety in this unprecedented time. Please support us so we can keep this one of kind kids salon open for our community.

We are reopening September 1st!

I am excited to announce that Gavin Newsom gave the go ahead yesterday in his Press Conference for all hair salons and barber shops to resume indoor operations. So we will be reopening September 1st! Visit us online to book an appointment or give us a call! We can’t wait to see you all again.

July 25 – Sorry We’re Closed

Due to the COVID County shutdown Taming Tangles last day being open was Saturday July 25th. We hope you all stay safe and well. We will let you know when we are able to reopen again. If you need any products while we are closed feel free to give us a call.

WE ARE OPEN and wanted to remind you of all the safety guidelines we have in place.

Everyone’s health and safety is of our utmost concern.  Therefore, we have increased our sanitization procedures.  Please read about all we are doing to keep your family and ours safe. 

  • Masks are required for ages 3 and older. (Unless you have a medical condition that prevents you from wearing a mask.)
  • As of now we only have 1-2 stylists working at a time and would appreciate it if you only have family members come who are needed for the appointment.  Our goal is to keep the number of people in the salon at or below 10. If you want to bring more, please give us a call first so we can accommodate. 
  • We have removed toys from the play area that are not easy to sanitize/disinfect between clients.
  • We have a hand sanitizing table as soon as you enter the salon and ask that you sanitize everyone’s hands. Of course, if you would prefer to wash your hands please go straight to the bathroom.
  • We use a clean cape with each customer.
  • Every station/chair is sanitized between each client.
  • All Team Members/Stylists are set up with hand sanitizer, masks, and other safety products.
  • We are communicating with our team every day and if anyone has any signs of being sick, they are asked to stay home.
  • If you have any symptoms or are in self isolation, please make us aware before arriving.

PLEASE RESCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT IF

  1. You or a member of your household have/had any symptoms of COVID-19 within the last 14 days.
  2. If you or a member of your household have been diagnosed with COVID-19 within the last 30 days.
  3. If you or a member of your household have been knowingly exposed to COVID-19 even if you do not have symptoms.
  4. If you or a member of your household have traveled outside the country to an area considered a hot spot of the virus.

Hello Valued Clients

It looks like we will be re-opening on May 1st, Online booking is now up!

Together we are facing a truly unprecedented situation that is affecting our families, team members, communities and you whom are also our valued clients. The global Covid-19 virus has prompted our team to raise our standards and do business in a much different way.

The Taming Tangles Family wanted to reach out to you and let you know that we are still here and to tell you what to expect and how we will be providing our services.

First and foremost, our hearts are with anyone who has been impacted by the virus both directly and indirectly. Our appreciation goes out to all people who are helping and especially heath care workers who have put themselves at the front lines to help others in need despite the risks.

For you and our team, we have a dedicated a leadership person who is always collecting the latest news and the most effective way to work safely around the risks of the virus including following the Safety Guidelines.

We want everyone to know that we have extended appointment times to allow for increased sanitation/disinfecting between clients. As of right now we will only have 1-2 stylists on at a time and would appreciate it if you only have family members come who are needed to keep the number of people in the salon below 10. We have removed toys from the play area that are not easy to sanitize/disinfect between clients. We have a table as soon as you enter the salon and ask that you use the hand sanitizer available to clean everyone’s hands as soon as you enter. Of course, if you would prefer to wash your hands please go straight to the bathroom. We will also now have two waiting areas, one inside and one out front.

All Team members / Stylist been set up with hand sanitizer, masks, gloves and other products to keep safe. We are communicating with our team every day and if anyone has any signs of being sick, they are asked to stay home and remain home for 48 hours thereafter. If you have any symptoms or are in self isolation, please make us aware before arriving.

Along with these guidelines we will be wearing a mask and we will ask you to wear a mask during your appointment. We will work around it as best we can.
